William Draven Two Brothers One Mind!! Paul Draper Dan Pollack
North Hollywood, CA - The first ever Mind Show was a complete success! William Draven, an entertainer we met while performing at a recent Vaudeville Show, shocked the audience members with wild demonstrations of Mind Over Matter. Then we came out and did our thing, transferring submitted words, thoughts, and images from one brother to the other. We were truly honored to have Mentalist & Anthropologist Paul Draper drive all the way from Las Vegas to join our crew. He absolutely blew people's minds as he precisely predicted the spectator's most inner thoughts. Milwaukee Hypnotist Dan Pollack (Jeff's original magic mentor) recently won a magic competition through Street of Cards and was in the area studying with Master Illusionist Jeff McBride. Dan mentally guided several eager volunteers as they envisioned roller coaster rides, lottery winnings and out of control bumper cars.
The Mind Show (II) - March 13th, 2009
William Draven Gabe Abelson Two Brothers One Mind!! Ken Dubner
North Hollywood, CA - The Return of The Mind Show!! The first event was such a success we decided to do it again. We brought William Draven back, who once again stunned the audience using an animal trap, hammer and nail to punish his body for their entertainment. We revealed a new effect ourselves; successfully duplicating a spectator's drawing, even though we were never in the same room at the same time at any given point. Mentalist & Comedian Gabe Abelson, who was a writer for Jay Leno, Bill Maher & David Letterman, rocked the house with his outstanding mind reading and hilarious comedy. Our Master Hypnotist for the evening, Ken Dubner, truly had the crowd eating out of his hand. He quickly had the volunteers under his trance, where he had complete hypnotic mind-control.
The Mind Show (III) - May 2nd, 2009
"Gypsy" Geoff Rex Sikes Two Brothers One Mind!! William Draven Dan Pollack
Milwaukee, WI - After two thriving shows in Los Angeles, we decided to bring The Mind Show to our hometown! As the spectators entered The Miramar Theatre they were quickly warned that "their mind's will be bent in every possible direction, perhaps even blown completely." Our MC for the evening, "Gypsy" Geoff, who also runs the traveling show Dead Man's Carnival, amazed the audience as he juggled numerous objects, spun plates on top of swords, and put out a flame with the crack of his whip. William Draven joined our crew once again and demonstrated his ability to shock & entertain. His reputation as "The Master of the Macabre" is growing fast and you can see him regularly on myNetworkTV's "Master's of Illusions." Rex Sikes, The World's First Motivational Mind Reader, mysteriously tapped into spectator's minds. After the show, everyone was curious how he correctly predicted so many things, he truly lived up to his name "Amazing Rex." Master Hypnotist Dan Pollack, making his second Mind Show appearance, put a trance on his volunteers in a matter of minutes. With his smooth demeanor, Dan was able to send his suspects on a subconscious journey the spectators will never forget. Our portion of the show went off well, we couldn't of asked for a better crowd. The energy was incredible and we even received a standing ovation at the end of our set. We will definitely be doing another show in Milwaukee sometime soon!
The Mind Show (IV) - June 19th, 2009
Aye Jaye Dan Pollack William Draven Paul Draper Two Brothers One Mind!!
North
Hollywood, CA – This performance was truly one of the most unique yet. Although it was labeled ‘Carnival of the Mind’
it could have easily been named ‘The Mentor Show.’ Interestingly enough, the
stage was shared by both students and teachers alike. With that mentioned, the show started off as Honorary
MC and Carney Legend Aye Jaye, who is
credited as William Draven’s advisor, explained the shady details of the old
Carnival Midway.During his explanation, he successfully snatched
a spectator’s wallet, watch, and few hysterical laughs along the way.Master Hypnotist Dan Pollack, the man who separately got both of The
Brothers interested in magic, decided to change things up a bit and trance
himself instead of the audience.Doing so, he invoked the spirit of Houdini and
miraculously escaped 100 feet of rope and a pair of regulation handcuffs. As the show went on, William Draven blessed our
stage once again, this time using a popcorn kernel to startle the captivating
crowd. He snorted the harmless prop and
shortly after surprised us all by popping it out of his eye ball; very gnarly
indeed!! The show’s producers, Two Brothers One Mind, demonstrated
their incredible ability by mentally transmitting a word from the dictionary and
somebody’s passport information.No
wonder they quickly earned the reputation as “Hollywood’s Telepathic
Entertainers.”For the second time, Las
Vegas Mentalist Paul Draper returned to The Mind Show. His friendly demeanor and intuitive nature always
catches our viewers off guard. He nonchalantly
went around the theatre and correctly described what everyone was asking & thinking.
Once again, our performers successfully left
the audience impressed and absolutely mind-blown!!
The Mind Show (V) - July 31st, 2009
North
Hollywood, CA – In order to celebrate the fifth installment of our production
we wanted to slightly enhance the entire Mind Show experience. With that said, we added a street performer
to help us entertain the group before they even entered the door. Magician
& comedian, Glenndalf, did a remarkable job of amusing our guests with his extraordinary
card tricks and hilarious comedy.You
could sense that the spectators were truly having a great time before the show even
started.Then, William Draven took the
stage and demonstrated some outrageous sword swallowing and fire eating techniques.Shortly after that, he ate a piece of string
and cut himself open to retrieve the item. That effect alone continues Draven’s reputation as “The Master of the Dark
Arts.”We were also very pleased to have
Paul Draper make his third appearance in the Mind Show. This time he used his mental abilities to not
only bend minds, but also twist some metal spoons at the same time!!“Telepathic Entertainers” Two Brothers One
Mind once again baffled the crowd with their unique blindfold act. This time The Brothers successfully transferred
thoughts, objects, geography, and even managed to duplicate a drawing from two separate
rooms. As the show continues to grow, the
audience members are quickly realizing that the Mind Show is never the same show
twice!!
The Mind Show (VI) - September 18th, 2009
Milwaukee, WI – For the second time ever we brought The Mind Show to Wisconsin. Once again, we had an amazing crowd that completely filled the seats at Bootleggers in Downtown Milwaukee. "Gypsy" Geoff joined our crew for the second time and he did an awesome job. If you haven't seen his show yet (The Dead Man's Carnival) definitely check it out!! Geoff is a master at working the audience and truly is a jack of all trades. Dan Pollack, making his fourth Mind Show appearance, invoked the essence of Houdini for his hometown crowd. After successfully conjuring the master magician, Dan was able to replicate the same effects that made Harry Houdini a household name. We were very pleased to have Las Vegas mentalist Paul Draper grace the stage for his fourth Mind Show. He literally had the audience jaw dropped as he reviled detailed information about the spectators he never met. To see more of Paul, purchase the 25th Anniversary of Poltergeist, where you can watch him host the special features portion of the DVD. On a side not, I have to say that our hometown provides us with some of the best fans an entertainer
could ever ask for!! After our set, we mingled with our guests and answered
the repeated question "When are you coming back?" With that said, we plan on doing a Milwaukee show at least twice a year - See you soon!!
The Mind Show (VII) - September 19th, 2009
Madison, WI – Before even booking this show, we knew it was going to be an adventure. None of us had any established fan-base in the area so we really had to rely on our self promotion. Luckily, during the same afternoon, The Willy Street Fair was going on. Being a popular Madison attraction, this gave us an opportunity to perform a quick demonstration for random festival goers. We only had a short amount of time, so we acted quickly. Dan Pollack replicated an old Houdini effect by having two volunteers to tie him down to a chair with 100 feet of rope. While this was going on, Paul Draper amused the masses with his traditional spoon bending routine and Two Brothers One Mind amazed the crowd as they demonstrated their Telepathic Abilities. The last minute busking ended up being a complete success. When we entered Area 51 the crowd erupted "The Mind Readers are here!!" The very nice welcoming lead to an awesome show. By the end of it, we made some new fans and some good friends. When we left, the bar graced us with a standing ovation. Now that we have a fan-base, Madison will get a chance to see more Mind Shows!!
